Calvary Chapel San Fernando Valley is a faithful bible believing church which follows the Lord first. 

It is our belief that your giving is from your heart, with joy, to the Lord. This means that we do not believe giving is a mandatory percentage of your earnings. Ten percent is a good example from God's wisdom documented in the Old Testament. But we also understand that the New Testament calls us to a different standard. Christ has freed all people from requirements of the law, therefore the tithe is no longer the requirement of giving, rather it is the heart from which we give. 

We encourage you to give from your heart, without reluctance, hesitation, or coercion. If giving is difficult, keep it, we do not want it. God does not need our giving, and he supplies his blessings to us. We know that when we give from the heart, sometimes we give more than ten percent, or sometimes trials cause us to give less. What is most important is giving faithfully from the heart, with joy, to the Lord. 

Your giving helps support the ongoing ministry of the church, ministries we support, reaching the community, and various other faithful causes the Lord has blessed us with.

We also believe in privacy so that your reward is not before others, but a treasure stored up in heaven. In person we do not pass plates for this reason but have places where an offering may be discretely given. In addition to this, we also now offer giving online. Giving can be simple, and set on an auto-pay. However you gives, do so unto the Lord.
